E-Commerce Conference.. A Platforem For Mutual Experince
HE Turkish Minister of Transport, Marine Affairs and Communications Mr. Ahmet Arslan and the Director General of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Bishar A. Hussein inaugurated the International E-Commerce Conference 2017, the two-day conference attracted several ministers and decision makers who discussed hot topics relevant to
e-commerce industry such as marketing, payment platforms and customer service. A State of Qatar delegates headed by HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed AlSulaiti participated in the conference. The event features multiple sessions for industry leaders representing e-commerce, logistics services and funding
companies in addition to academics and postal service operators. The event provided a great opportunity to share experiences, finding solutions to common problems and negotiating a long-term collaboration. HE Qatari Minister of Transport and Communications and his Turkish counterpart HE Minister of Transport, Marine Affairs and Communications launched of an e-commerce platform “the Turkish Souq”. The online platform will provide Qatari market with up to 5 million high-quality Turkish products.In another contest, HE Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti met in Turkey with his Turkish counterpart HE Mr. Ahmet Arslan. The two officials discussed aspects of cooperation in the fields of transport, communications, ports and aviation and means of further enhancing them. They also reviewed the potential investment opportunities available in these industries, as well as a number of matters of common interest between the two friendly countries.
